Your responses will contribute towards building local context to support the identification of possible management decisions and resilience building actions for significant coastal margin ecosystems (saltmarsh, seagrass and coastal lagoons) in the Marlborough region at remote rural and natural locations. These critical coastal ecosystems support marine and terrestrial biodiversity, help mitigate climate change effects and buffer land from rising seas.
The survey harnesses super easy to use dynamic mapping that allows you to create spatially specific data for your chosen location(s). The main component of the survey only takes 10 minutes, but you can add as many sites as you want, which might take a little longer.
